Unfortunately the mini has too slow a twist barrel for much above 55 gr.

Ya I'm not sure of the twist rate on the T model Mini either, but what I meant was more that if you go with a 22-250 you have to go get another set of reloading dies and another collection of brass, while if you go with .223 you can reload for other rifles you might want to buy later.

We dont get any .223 at the local walmart here in Yellowknife, But we get the White Box of winchester Value pack of 40 rounds of .22-250 for 32 dollars. I hear the white boxes of winchester varmint ammo can be quite accurate depending on the rifle. Had anyone seen this in their little cannons?
That seems like a so-so price for varmint ammo, but does anyone get that type of price at their local mom and pop ammo stores?
