I first noticed this about a month back but what happened is at a certain point I fired a round and nothing happened and I couldn't open the bolt. I had to ram the charging handle on something to open it up. I took the gun apart, looked at the bolt and the firing pin was stuck in the depressed position so it was not protruding. So I got it unstuck and the gun fired a few rounds but then it happened again. I took the gun apart today and gave it a thorough clean, including disassembling the bolt and gave the firing pin and all crevices a good clean. Although I noticed the ejector was not sitting nicely flush, it was slanted down forward slightly.

The rifle worked nicely today until about 60 rounds in when it did the same thing. Rifle went click and nothing happened. Had to ram the charging handle against a tree to open it and then loaded another mag. Again click but nothing happened and charging handle said hello to the tree again. I took the gun apart and the ejector was now more odd looking than before and was angled down and forward instead of just sitting nice and straight in it's proper place. It also was obvious that a part of the ejector was being rubbed against something inside the gun as there was a line of wear where the rubbing was obviously occurring.

Do I need to take this in for Warranty or just buy another extractor? Thanks guys for any advice or insight.

Pics would help but your best bet is to get a hold of North Sylva and let them work out the problems then you spending more money on something that is under warranty.

Hope it ll gets rectified for ya.

You and I are in the exact same boat buddy. North Sylva will get you fixed. Do you have their email and phone number? If not, PM me and I'll get it over to you.

Hey, yeah I googled them and will try to get in touch with them this week or next. Did you already send yours off?

And I was only using 55 grain American Eagle ammo.
