Hello all,

Has anyone ever used a .22LR insert in a break action 12 gauge before? Anyone know if one such as this would work in my 12 guage Cooey Model 84?

cheers,
Jason

It will work fine. I'd prefer a gun with an extractor over an ejector for using adapters but both will work though you will probably want to block the adapter from being ejected as you break it open.

I intend to make a couple of addapters once I get my all purpose shotgun built. I am interested to see if any kind of accuracy can be achieved with them on a gun with sights. Can't see how it would be accurate on a regular shotgun. As I have some odd bits of 303 barrel the first one will be .32 S&W. Not sure if I will try .22 rimfire but I may try something like .22 hornet if the .32 works well.

I think you'd want to play with the orientation a bit and then make an index mark when you like the point of impact.
