22lr ammo shortage?

Was at Le Barron's Woodbine store on Friday. Shelves are full of 22 ammos. Wildcats, X perts, Goldens, subsonic, CBs, Mini Mags........etc. Actually good prices too. No Federal (or American Eagles) though, as they do not carry Federal line. the other gun store I go to is loaded with 22s too.

Absolutely, positively no 22 shortage around here.

Our local Co-op has .22 Western HP for $14.97 per 500. I bought 10,000 rounds.... so far. I also bought 5000 Federal 525's. I had about 10,000 at home. Might buy more if things go right as far as work. Kids are too old to sell now.

Damn!! Gotta send those good prices here to some of the ON dealers!!! Best deal i got lately was $17 for Blazer 525's ... Avg. seems to be 20-25$ here for bulk ... and ive seen 30+$ for some...

Price wise, Woodbine Le Barron sells Win. X perts bricks of 500 for $20.95 (on Special now, don't know what the regular price is) and Win. Wildcats o brick of 500 for $19.99 (regular price). Bought a box of X pert to try it. Bad ammo, even for a chepo. For chepo's, i will stick with Federal value pack.

If you are into wildcats, then at $19.99 for 500, it is a good deal for T.O.

By the way, who makes "Western" ammo? Quality!? $14.99 is a smoking good deal.

I've been looking for them locally for the past 2 years.........

It's one of those "travel a bit to buy" types of .22 .......

I live in Prince George and there is nothing for 22 ammo anywhere here.

Ammo is slowly making it back... I'd say in 6 months, the 22LR will be back in stores
