Want to buy only one .22lr

Would like a tactical style black rifle with high cap mag.
Non restricted if possible.

Gsg15?
Ruger 1022 with marauder kit?
Walther g36?
M&p1522?

Which one would you suggest?

Thanks

well, the MP15-22 has two strikes on your list, it's restricted AND has magazine caps at 10. That being said, I've had one and its VERY fun to use, and very light. It's oh so ridiculous that it's considered an AR15 variant... the top/bottom receivers don't mate at all to AR15 type ones.

I also had a GSG15, no issues/complaints. High cap mags, foldable stock, NR :)

What is a 10-22 marauder kit?

This kind of set up... may not be exactly like this, but you get the idea:

I think the GSG is the only one on your list that isn't subject to a 10 round restriction. Not only are the Walther's hard to find, but they use the same magazines as the .22 HK416 made by Walther which does have a pistol model

The Mossberg 715T is non-restricted, but has the same magazine issue.

Some of your other choices are the Remington 597, Marlin 795, and Savage A22.

I don't think anyone's made a tactical style chassis/stock for the Savage yet and have no clue about the Marlin. The Remington 597 VTR should check all your boxes though.

I have both and would recommend both a GSG15 and CZ512 ( though I have the wood 512) both are equally accurate for me approx 2-3 inch groups with bulk 22lr. And a 4x scope on the GSG and a bushnell 3moa reddot on the CZ512

Cz512 for the win for me but both are awesome. No FTF or jams in the CZ and only a handful in the GSG in the first two mags till I had them loaded properly the way it likes them

Remington 597 VTR, lots of hate for this one, but I have mine for over 10 years and over 10,000 rounds through it with no issues. 30 round and 25 round mags available.
GSG StG 44 , heavy but fun. 25 round mags as standard.
Coming soon, GSG MP40 with 22-23 round magazines as standard.

I went S&W 15-22 because its super reliable and the trigger out of the box is pretty much perfect to me (complete gun noob). I was going to go GSG but my Uncle has one and it hasn't been reliable for him and its recommend to take to a gun smith to do a complete clean. Where the 15-22 is super easy to clean. The 15-22 is the closest to a real ar I could find. I have around 1000 round through it and no hang ups. I have cleaned it after every use and only used cci/blazer rounds in it.

I also have the GSG-15. The magazines are nice and easily attainable, at least in my area (Edmonton).

As Baldabe said the STG 44 made by GSG is another good option. I held one while shopping for my GSG-15 and it is much heavier.

I would say the Remington 597 is one of the better choices for a Black 22, even the marlin 795 has some pretty decent options for it as well.

Friend of mine got a GSG. Wouldn't make it past 2 mags (CCI Mini Mags) without a jam. You can always get an SR-22, run with the 10 round mags and wait for the Dlask TUF-22 magazine to hit the market. I believe Dlask is willing to machine any stock receiver to accommodate the TUF-22.

I own an ISSC MK22 (basically a gsg but looks more like a scar). I have ran about 2000 rounds through it without an issue. It looks cool and has an aluminum upper so it doesn’t feel cheap like other addon kits like the 10/22.
