22lr CCI quiet ammo

wondering if any of my hardware would like the CCI Quiet.
Anything that's manually cycled eats it like a champ. My Little Badger loves it, as do my various Savage Mk II's.

Semi-autos fire it fine but don't expect the action to cycle. Tested it in a GSG 1911 and an ISSC MK22 and neither cycled.

It is pretty quiet and as the others have said it doesn't work in semi auto's very well. Tried it in my 597, it did not cycle the bolt. The old cooey single shot is where it is at for the quiet ammo.

CCI Quiets are perfect for the Henry. Almost as quiet as shorts - which, for some reason, my Henry Frontier manual says not to use (?): specifically CB (conical ball) shorts.

The key is to get them on sale...I have seen some dealers charging MORE for a round that actually contains LESS, lol...

My barrel says Shorts are Ok, and I have put some through. Like you said, perfect for the Henry. I've only heard of 'Quiet' .22s from this thread. Definitely will be picking some up. :)

cycles my 10/22 sometimes, sounds about as loud as a cb long/short but with more power delivered to target. Love that round but hey are hard to find.

I use this ammo a lot. There are both CCI Quiet and CCI Quiet Segmented Hollow Point. The hollow points are more, but both are the same grain of lead and same 710 feet per second. I have not had too much trouble finding them at my local dealers or the CTC's. Sure are quiet, great for plinking!
