.22LR Cleaning (Did I just waste money?)

Glad you have some "street-cred" now. Subversives could seize cleaning techniques as support for a registry!

Not all my .22's get the same sort of attention. I have to clean the action on my 64's every 500-1000 rds...other .22's could go several 1000 rds. Match guys swab their barrels every session. For cleaning supplies, I have a mish-mash of different(cheap) things. Fortunately, all threads have been the same to date.
 
With my 10.22 by the time it's dirty enough to clean it, I'm usually bored with its current setup, so I just buy a new barrel and start over.. LOL

seriously.. ;)


Actually, I bought a bore snake for my AR15, but I use it more on my .22's than anything else. Handy thing to have and can drop in your pocket if you plan on dumping a couple of "econo-packs" of ammo through it while you are plinking ;)
