Say guys what guns are you shooting those Dynapoints with, I've tried them in all of my .22's and they don't seem to be all that accurate in my rifles, Thanks FS

13 bucks was the price, exactly-but like gas, it's gone up for no reason

Well, brass, lead and copper are all up on the commodity market, and there is two shooting wars underway that are increasing production demand at other plants.

My Ruger 10/22 with Clerke 20" barrell doesn't seem to mind them, and the CZ452 Lux handles them well. Not better than Lapua but good enough for serious practice. Haven't tried them in the BTVS yet, but the AR-7 hates 'em.

.22's are so finicky......

They shoot really well in my Rem 597. I saw them at a local Wal-Mart for $14.57 a brick recently. Thinking they were discontinued, I bought all 3,500 rounds on the shelf. Should last me a while, but in any event, are they discontinued or not ?

big deal

I'm with Fassteel on this one. I have 12 or so rimfires and not one of them shoots Dynapoints into anything other than a pattern. I don't get the hype and I'll leave them at WM for the rest of you to enjoy. Just my experience.

DynaPoints

.... 'Work really well in my BRNO .... when next I hit either the local Canadian Tire or Wal-Mart, I'll be on the look out for a brick or two!... David K. .....:canadaFlag:

Wal-Mart in Squamish had them when I was there a couple of weeks ago. It was like Christmas in April!

I bought 2 boxes at wally on Sunday. Here in the peg, they have had them all along!!! I couldn't figure out why everyone was saying they couldn't find em ;)

Just out of curiosity, what makes these so special? I usually shoot the copper plated federal classic stuff, and have always figured that there is really no difference in 22 lr ammo when your buying the 500 bricks that are priced the same.

I preffer copper plated over lead, not as dirty...and Dinapoints seem to be the cheapest of them all (it was quite a deal where they were $13) still I don't think you can get anyother copper plated .22LR for the same price.

They had them here in Brandon at Wally World and sold them right out in less than a week. Bought one brick then went back for more and now am kicking my but for not buying them all. Luckily I stocked up on the Blazers when our local gun store had them, not too bad either.
My vote is dynapoints are the best of the cheapies, cycle especially well in the semi-auto handguns.:agree:

just checked Winchester website but didn't Dinapoints listed... anyone knows what the velocity is? I know they are 40gr-ers...

Apparently about 1,156 fps from a Ruger 10/22.

.22's are very particular about ammo. Not unusual for identical guns to shoot ammo very differently.

Just out of curiousity, what guns do you have the don't like the Dynapoints.
