.22lr Lever action

Marlin Levermatic model 56 from the 60's? Pretty well every 'newer' lever action I have ever seen is tube fed...

I find the tube fed rifles handier as there is no magazine to put in and out. Other than a bit more work to unload I find them more practical to carry in the field.

Tube magazines will handle .22short, longs and long rifle. Box magazines not so well in my experience. Depends if you only want to feed long rifle through the magazine.

The ruger 96/22 Come with a rotary magazine, does it works well like a box magazine on the marlin levematic model 56

Wich one could be the best?

A .22 lever action with a box magazine will be one of the older long out of production guns. I've got a Savage with that arrangement. And I've seen one of the Mossberg options mentioned above. Just be aware that these are "vintage" guns and if the break or you want additional magazines then you're in for some hunting.

A couple of years ago I got the bright idea to try some old aluminium arrow shafts as "speed loaders" for my tube magazine rimfire rifles. This has proven to be a great thing. And because the arrow shafts fit into the magazine I can insert them until they are visible through the usual loading port. Then I tip up to load and come back to level and when I draw out the tube there is the "proper" amount of ammo up to the point of just seeing the last bullet peeking out into the loading port.

This feature is one that the commercial speed loader does not have. And it's been a great feature. I've been meaning to get around to doing a bit more research on aluminium shafts to provide a range of the sizes which can be used for making speed loaders. I just found a size chart and will post something up in a little bit later today.
