The only limit is the amount it will hold.

No limit in the firearms act, hunting use may depend on the province though, some of them have magazine limits, but I imagine there's not much game you can get with a .22

this is the hunting section... cant hunt with a restricted firearm. a small amount of deductive reasoning would have told you that.

check your provinces hunting regs. in Ontario there isn't a limit on the number of rounds in a 22lr for hunting.

Agreed.

I used my SR-22 for some partridge hunting last year, it was fun walking down the trail with a "black" rifle and a 25 round banana clip sticking out of it.
