22LR pistol recomendations under 500 bucks

if you like Glock's, you'd probably like the looks of the ISSC M22:

their price is all over the map. I've seen some shops selling them in the low $400's and others up into the $500's.

only real complaint I've read about them is that the front sight can pop out of its hole, so you'll probably need to use some crazy glue or something to secure it.
 
Buckmark pistols are great ones. But when you try to find some spare parts like recoil spring, it is back order everywhere. That's why I sold mine and bought a nice used Ruger MKII bull barrel. I never looked back as this little Ruger is deadly accurate and all spare parts can be found everywhere, Canada included...

The front sight kept coming loose on my FMK 9C1, so I put a drop of clear nail polish on it. Hasn't moved since, and it'll be a whole lot easier to remove in the future compared to crazy glue, ect.
 
yep S&W 41 , Browning buck mark,rugger heavy barrel mark 2 and or 3 also if you can find one high standard made a nice 22 back in the day. these are my personal go to choices . good luck and have fun
