22LR Quiet for semi-auto

Has anyone tried to run CCI quiet semi-auto ammo through a Derya TM-22? This gun is very picky with ammo, so I wanted some feedback before I go out and buy a brick of ammo.

I don't have a TM22, but most semis require HV ammo to cycle properly. I would try to get you hands on a small box before buying in bulk.

Thanks for the input. Everywhere around me is sold out in store so online bulk is the only cost effective method for me.

I might just wait an see when the stores get a new shipment.

I have some CCI Quiet-22 Semi Auto (835FPS advertised) that will cycle a 10/22 and CMMG 22LR conversion no problem. They're different from CCI Quiet (710FPS advertised). The semi auto ones are a bit louder but not by much.

Some .22lr semi's can be fussy with any ammo so it's unlikely that the semi auto specific quiets will run well in every gun.... that said I've run the regular quiet's through a browning semi auto (SA22) so I can imagine that the CCI product made with a little more power to cycle semi's should run well enough in most guns otherwise what's the point?

I also run the regular quiet's in 10/22's and treat them as a manual straight pull action when doing so as there is not enough power in the regular quiets to cycle the action fully.

I've never tried the semi auto variant of the CCI quiet ammo but your making me want to buy a box to try out....

Does anyone actually have stock right now?

edit, looks like only Cabella's Bass Pro has stock right now, the single 50 round packs are $10.00.... pretty cheap experiment to run

There are at least three different types of CCI Quiet. As this is labelled, "semi-auto" one might go out on a limb and surmise it is designed to cycle a semi auto. I had some and it ran my buddy's 10-22 just fine

I only have the CCI quiet copper plated fragmented hollow points. I tossed the box and forget the FPS.

cci quiet was not good enough accuracy or consistency of velocity in my 457.. unless you are shooting inside 25 yards.....

Try the semi auto stuff if any
Not many factory semis will cycle the standard quiets or subsonics

As someone already posted you may not even notice them any quieter than your regular ammo
I have a 10-22 that fires them but they not quiet at all thru it About the same loudness as the one i use for federal blue box

Have a Cil/Anschutz that cycles them and they are nice and quiet in it

The 3 different quiets i have are all 710 fps
Hp,Rn,Rn Target
May be mistaken but i was sure i had some quiets that listed 1025 fps
