Any of you guys ever get a 22lr reclined? I have a nice working 22 but the riflings are almost non existent. I watched a few videos on it and am half tempted to try it if I can get a reamer for the chamber and the liner

I used to do a lot of them but the cost of buying a liner has skyrocketed due to US Export regulations... the extremely stupid US Lawmakers must think rim fire liners are high on the terrorist grocery list.

I have a long 5/16 drill designed for preparing the barrel I would sell (SOLD NOW)... $50 includes mailing. I paid considerably more for it from Brownell's Inc. It still does the job.

Ron Smith, a rifle barrel maker in Wimbourne Alberta rifles his own liners for 22 rf and installs them too. I think he will sell them for others to do the installation themselves. You would still have to chamber them and cut the notch for the extractor.

Looking for advice .... I have a Steven's marksman 12 in 25 cal. Was thinking of rebarrelling it to 22 but 22 mag or25 ACP. What are the thoughts1 on this? Is this tip up a strong enough action to do this for should I stick with the original plan of 22. Thanks
