22lr scope: need advice

i guess that for decent scope with moderate price, i would just get a bushnell elite 5-15
has tactical turrets, adjustable parallax, works fine.

For .22 and 17 hmr, i like it. Right now i have one on my 17 hmr and like the fac that you can click the drop for grouse hunting.

In for some tactical grouse hunting this fall, with the range finder, shooting mat and adjustable scope ;)

lol

If your set on the $50-75 price mark you could pick up a Simmons 22 mag 3-9 x 32 for around that price. I have one of these on my daughters 22 and the glass is clear and bright and it holds position and tracks fine. Nice little scope for the money. They also make this model with AO (Links attached)
If I had a choice I would also spend a little more and buy a centerfire scope with AO. Nice thing with the centerfire scope is you can use it on any rifle not just rimfire.

I just picked up a Crossfire II 6-18x44AO for my Savage 17HMR and it's a sweet piece of equipment. It would seem that the Crossfire II's have gone up in price as I payed $280 after tax with the BDC reticle. It seems very clear (not a good as my Viper PST but good for the price).

I get as much pleasure from my rimfires as any other of my firearms.
If you do not own a decent rimfire with decent optics you are missing a lot.
I think cheap scopes are not worth wasting ammo with.
That what I love about opinions ... everyone's got one:)
