.22lr scope recomendations for 300+yards?

:) 22LR ... 300 yards, you do kinda have to aim in to space in order to hit something at 300 yards... :)

Here is some information about the 300 yard .22LR match I run at TCRC:

Info about scope and rail recommendations in the links, as well as the types of groups you can get.

Shooting a .22LR at 300 yards is equivalent to shooting a 308 at 1000 yards. Drops and wind drift are the same (in MOA, not inches) And groups are about the same. It's excellent practice for long range competition.

I have a Vortex Diomondback on my R-22, gpphers head in the bottom of the bell = 300ish yards, Fire for effect ten rounds. Lot's of fun

Awesome info!!

I had a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40 on a rimfire a while back. Got it used off the EE for $300. I was really impressed with the scope, just as good as my VX-II and half the price.

That and some Zee Ring inserts should have you shooting long range close to your budget.

Sightron 6.5-20x50 SIIB
DIP 25moa base
Burris Signature Zee rings with 20thou offsets.

That'll get you out there as far as you want to reach.
