.22lr scope

Looking for a higher magnification scope for a .22lr for at the range. It's a budget rifle so the brands I have in mind are Bushnell Banner 6-24, Tasco varmint 6-24, or one of the BSA scopes in that power range. I've had Banners in the past and was pleased with them. How would the others compare? Also anyone that has a used scope in this power range please PM me.

i have a banner 3.5-10 and a sightron 6.5-20 (both for 22LR). they're both good even though one is 8 times the price of the other.
buddy of mine had the tasco 6-24. it was crap, we both agreed on that. he sold it.

i'd stick with bushnell. i've been relatively happy and "not disappointed" when looking through their various lines. even just hand-held in the store, a banner or trophy would be on my "buy" list. a tasco? ugh. i hated my friend's tasco as well as another new one in the store.
