22lr shortage? Dont think so!

My local Walmart has had Winchester Dynapoint bricks and now has a dozen or so bricks of Federal bulk. I usually don't use bulk ammo but I'm seeing more on the shelves than a year ago.

I don't know. I wouldn't pay that price foe thunderbolts! I have enough .22 at home to get me through for a while anyway.

Federal being the most expensive at 28$

And Win 333 for 15.99

Not too bad. I like the dynapoint, accurate enough from 0 to 100m for cheap bulk and quiet enough for backyard plinking.

Canadian Tire on the other side... Are RAPING people and will not price match... 44$ for a brick a thunder turds. 52$ for federal 525... Bought some yellow jacket at 5.59 but that was it for CT

True...it is tough to beat Wal-Mart ; I do not even bother looking at Canadian Tires ammo section any more unless it is an emergency.....total rip off on their 22 prices when compared to Wal-Mart.....

I got 10 boxes of SV and mini mags just the other day. He did say there was a 2 box limit but now that they have refilled their shelves "literally full" he could flex it a bit.

My shooting buddies from Victoria are always saying .22LR is hard to find. While here in the Okanagan it's always been available although the good stuff like CCI Stingers and Mini-Mags have sometimes been in short supply, but that was over year ago.

I generally stick to the CCI Mini-Mags (always, always reliable and accurate) as my go to .22LR round and CCI Stingers/Velocitors when there available.
Del Selin Gun supplies of Vernon is my gun store of choice for stocking CCI, but they do carry other brands of .22LR as well.

You're wrong. CT stores are independently owned and it's up to the individual store as to what they price match. Most will only price match to stores local to them.

I'm not wrong I didn't say anything about price matching. However they do have to go my corporation prices. Read the fine price please. All CT stores can lower there online prices or advertised prices, however they have to go by the online prices as their highest price point.
