.22lr VS .17HMR

I shot 300m pretty well every time I'm at the range with my .22

I also reload .223 so I have no need for a 17hmr, I have had one when it first came out but sold it after a few boxes of ammo

***edit** LOL, is there 3x of this exact tread?
What is it roughly costing you per shot when reloading 223? I guess depends what bullet your using. I see some Speer varmint bullets available for $20 per 100. That’s cheap compared to the longer higher b.c 22 cal bullets

I still have a load of projectiles, bricks of primers, and pounds of powder that I paid decent prices for before all this crapshow happened.

But your right, you can still find $0.20 projectiles, $0.08 SR primers and pounds of H335 for under $50... Costs less than the Lapua Center-X I shoot out of my rimfire rifle! Different games though.

Wow… less than your rimfire target rounds. All the more reason to reload for 223 then at that price per shot! If you don’t mind, inbox me where those 8 cent primers are found. All the primers I’ve seen online are like $14-$16 for a box of 100. Also the powder you mentioned being under $50. I’d like to find it for that cheap

I paid $73+ tax on sale for the campro/ginex small rifle a couple months ago at Bullseye but looks like about $109 not on sale, you can even buy CCI small rifle primers for only $0.12... Tenda has H335 in stock for $59, again I bought a few pounds of it for $49 on sale at Bullseye. (they don't always advertise what is on sale on the website) also I go to small gun shops that don't advertise online, sometimes you find even better prices..
