IMO the yellowjacket shoots well if you dont have feed issues.
A local canadian tire has over 14 pails of golden bullets. They cant seem to sell the stuff.
Wonder why?

The Remington Peters stuff I got from la is great in my 10/22 but I think the yellow jacket would work fine to new that I've changed up the feed ramps etc. Seems to fire any other hollow point just fine....? But no way I'm paying 12 cents plus tax for it, but any chance in hell. They won't even honour their price matching policy on this stuff. Everything else they will but they said that because it's so hard to get they won't honour it and they charge what they want to because if you want to fire your 22 then you will pay it

A$$HOLES

I hate wholesale sports so badly. There are two really good guys that actually know a fair bit, so many of the other ones know less than my daughter about guns...it's sad really. But what a ripoff holy crap. Only reason I shop there is they have selection, but they will generally price match to anywhere in Canada that has the item in stock for purchase at the storefront. I've even got them to price match online only stores a couple times... probably saved over a grand from price matching in just over a month.... must say something about their pricing if I only go to the store with a charged cell phone so I can find somewhere else with a better price, lol

I ran some tests on them yesterday and although they are not the worst, they are second to worst in terms of max spread and standard deviation the worst by far being Remington subs (horrible stats)..Winchester xperts, minimags and fed champions are pretty much the same, the best is CCI standards...incredible...a standard deviation of 9 fps and max spread of only 22 fps...better than the rws match...the best buy for me is federal champions and Winchester xperts and they are still some boxes around at around 20 something.

The goldens are ok for plinking stuff or medium range pest dispensing...certainly not target ammo, the max spread was 93fps and SD was 40fps to give you an idea.

Canadian tire near montreal just got 30 boxes of fed champs...pretty far from you though...another one got 10 boxes of CCI quiets....it's my favorite "in the woods" plinker...now they are down to 3...

Wholesale just got and ran out of federal auto match. Not a bad price, picked up only two boxes of 325 just to see if the gun likes it. I'm loving this Remington Peters stuff though I want more of it! Solid point, high velocity, feeds great, accurate....I'm very happy with it. The worst part is that I couldn't get more! Already down to 1700 or so from 2200 two weeks ago.... sigh, the biggest thing I don't like about rimfire is that I can't make it myself. I got super lucky with some Berger bullets and got then real real cheap, so I can make my 223 ammo for about 3 to 5 cents more money than good rimfire stuff! Cheaper than bulk corrosive 7.62x39 ammo bought in crates! And it's precisely made long range target ammo!:dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

Those winchester xperts hv are no good in my 10/22, they jam more than anything i've tried.

Really? They are just fine in both of mine...stove pipes or Fail to feed? I've had some issues with stovepipes using subs...never had any issues with any high velocity round, maybe a couple of failures to fire but it's very rare.
