Why not just add a 5 lb dumbell to the front of the gun and use it as a club?

At least that much weight up front will help with recoil. LOL

'Seen a few run at Ft. Benning 3gun and a few other matches...
Seem to work/ function without any woes...

One match in MI an XRail rep was on my squad with one... Worked great.
Takes a while to load, but... It works

"There is no limit to the magazine capacity for semi-automatic rim-fire long guns, or for other long guns that are not semi-automatics."

You should be able to put the 22 round magazine on your pump action shotgun.
Perfect for Zombie defence!
