240 wby or 257wby

Get the 240 Wby, its the King of 6mm cartridges and everyone I've had is a tack driver, and you can get a 5.75 lb mark V ultralight, Cooper is coming out with there Model 92 BackCountry at 5.75 lbs, or you can buy a $650 Vanguard S2 that will give you MOA out of the box and in most cases better.........everyone has a 257 !!!



 
I use my 257 as a varmint rifle using factory 87 gr ammo, a marmott cant be find after they are vaporized... JP.

I picked up a Vanguard 240 at a gun show about a yr ago or more, and have yet to shoot it myself. My son's have taken a few pokes with it. I'm pretty bad for buying and not touching it for a few yr's! Hopefully this thread will make some sparks for me!

A friend of mine has my last Vanguard S2 240 Wby..........shoots incredibly well see below, I just bought another Vanguard 240 and should be here in the next day or so !



 
I have a Weatherby North Mark coming sometime soon, it is chambered in 257. I am really excited to get it, it will be my first Weatherby rifle and first Weatherby chambering. I can't wait to get it! I haven't been this excited for a new rifle in a long time!
