I bought the belting die from CH4D and it works like a charm if you use new cases. I use new 25-06 cases to make 240 Wby. You force the case into to die with your press and tap the case out with a rod and a hammer. Not real fast but a perfect case everytime
I've done it but its a lot of work. Just used regular dies but made a shell holder without a hole so it was pushing on the whole base. I also needed to chuck them in the lathe to trim a little on the front of the belt.

Thats not an issue with the CH die. Perfectly formed belt every time. I should have mentioned that I found that 25-06 Hornady brass was the same weight and capacity as the Wby brass and the same loads could be used. Other brass such as Win Rem etc was heavier and loads had to be reduced a couple grains
I've got a belted magnum style case wildcat based off a 243. Its slightly shorter with a straight wall and the same capacity as a 22-250 that I'm having trouble forming cases for. It is very close to 240 measurements at the base. I'll look at getting a CH die
