Speer Gran slams are a underated Hunting bullet - they kill game with the proper placed shot as Well as any bullet will ! The 250 GS in my 338WMs really thumped bears ! jmo

I used to use plain jane Federal blue box 100gr in my 243 years ago..no idea what the actual bullet was, didnt care either, the deer never complained though..

I had good results with federal blue box 100gr or 100gr gamekings over IMR 4831 or IMR 4064. The 4064 load was fantastic and given to me by a sierra company guy.
