I am lookin to load up some 75gr Hornady Hollowpoints but I only have IMR4350 powder. Does anyone have any load data for this combo. I am running out of 100 grainers so I thought I would load some of these up but only have imr4350.

My Lyman book gives 40.0 to 45.0 for that powder and bullet weight. Load for the weight. Who made them, unless they're fancy Barnes bullets, doesn't matter.

Looks like 44.5 grains of IMR 4350 is the winner with a 1 inch group @100yards, and 45 grains coming in a close second with about 1 1/4 inch. I worked up the load starting at 43 grains and went up .5 intervals to 45 grains, and a COL of 2.670.

What gun are you shooting this in. I ask because my recipe for my savage 11 is very close. 43.5gr IMR 4350, 75gr Hornady HP, CCI LR, Federal brass, OAL 2.675",
Group size at 100m = 0.85", ave vel = 3280fps, vel spread was only +/- 8fps.

This is one of the best loads for my gun.

ps. 22" sporter weight barrel, non-accutrigger, brass was neck sized.

The gun I am using is a Savage model 10 GXP3 with accutrigger, 22" barrel, Federal brass, winchester primer, and full length resize. I was shooting off a bench, but I was only leaning across it using no sandbags or gunrest. The group probably would have been better if I had the right equipment. 45 grains was real close to 44.5 grain, but I think I will stick with the 44.5. As for velocity, I didn't have a chrony with me so who knows.
