I'm looking to whip up some hand loads for my new 243 and I was wondering what your personal go to favorite weights and brand of bullets is for medium size game for me which will be whitetail mostly.

Id try an 85 grain Barnes TSX over enough Varget, RL15, or H4350 to make 3200 f/s. IMR 4007ssc should be another good one to try. The 85 tsx should perform excellent on deer. I shot a buck last fall with a 55 grain ballistic tip!

My go to load for 87 grain vmax is 42 grains of imr 4350 .Another good load for me was 95 gr. berger with 41gr of 4350 also.

My go-to are the 90 grain Nosler Accubonds for my 240 Weatherby. I recently purchased a 6mm Remington and will try 90 grain accubonds, 85 grain partition and 95 grain ballistic silver-tip. I'm sure it will like one of the three.
