I've been shooting some Sierra 60 grn HP's out of my .243 for the last bunch of years and they have worked decent for me. I'm almost out of them and want to try something else in the 65grn to 75grn range. I'm thinking maybe a 70grn Nosler BT or a 75 grn Hornady V-Max that way I still keep a good trajectory but will buck the wind a bit better than the 60's. What do ya'll think?

Thanks
Tim

I just picked up a box of Sierra 85gr HPBT Game Kings... will see how they shoot next week if I can get rid of this goddamn virus...

Silverado, I have used the Sierra 85gr HPBT on ground hogs. Very accurate in both my 243's and also very destructive. Might not be the best for Coyotes if you want the pelt. IMR 4350 at about 3200fps will work just fine.

The best bullet for a 6mm varmint rifle in my mind is outside your weight range, the 87gr Vmax. .400 BC, flies level and keeps sailing, light enough to move fast. Murder to pelts though...

I'll second that!!
