I finally got to take my (new to me) 243 out for the first time to try out some new loads.

Shootin
70gr Nosler BT
Varget
CCI 250
Rem brass

The first round or rounds :p I made up were
39gr to foul the barrel and to get the scope on target
40, 41, 41.5, 42 and 42.5

He a pic of what I use so I know which target Im shooting at and so you can tell which powder amount is which target incase you cant see the writing on the target

All of these are 3 shot groups.

Im looking at the next round of loadin up something like 41.3, 41.5, 41.7 and 41.9. Maybe a 42.1 Im thinking maybe these could be some one holer groups if I can keep my shootin together for it.

Im just wondering what you guys would make up for your next batch of loads???

WHat I dont like about the 41.5 and 42 is that the POI are in a different spots on the target, so with that in mind. The 42 and 42.5 POI are more similar. So should I try more inbetween them? BTW there was no pressure signs with the 42.5's.

Does that make any sense?

Also, this is going to be my new yote rifle, so I dont know if I need anything more then the half MOA rig. Nice to have I guess for the longer ranges.

cheers
