42.5 grains of IMR 4064 is what I use for 70 grain ballistic tips. The only powder I found that shot its best at max load. Most others seem to be most accurate well below max.

IMR4350 and IMR4895 are others. Check your rifling twist. Most commercial hunting rifles have a twist more suitable for deer bullets.

Rifles are a mid 60's Sako 579 HB and a Rem VLS. FS
