.243 powder and bullet choices

So far only loading 58gr vmax with varget in a vangaurd s2 excellent results. Probably going to try 4350 for 100gr.

H4831 - Win brass seems to be alright. Pretty much all I use in a few calibers. I get good life out of it. As for federal it is crap last time I used it (4 years ago) was fired as factory ammunition and loaded once. When I went to load it again the primer pockets were very loose. The federal stuff was loaded in a 30-06 with 49gr of varget on a 150gr bullet

I've used H4350, IMR 4064 and with 55gr bullets VV N135

I will try IMR 7828 with 100gr bullets in the near future.

The only Mir-weight bullets I could find in stock locally are Speer 80 gr Deep Curl. I picked up a box to try them out and I will order some Hornady or noslers in the new year.

These bullets have some kind of coating and Speer strongly recommends the special data for them. Looks like I have 4 powders to choose from. I need to get some loaded up and sighted in soon.

Thanks everyone for the recommended components. I will definitely go through them and see what works best in my rifle.
