A-Max bullets are not hunting bullets. Well, not deer hunting bullets.
For a 105, you'll have to contact Alliant. They give a 100 grain RL-22 load. Probably be close enough. 5 grains doesn't make a lot of difference. The loads on their site are max loads too. Reduce by 10%.
Been using IMR4350 for Speer 105 grain SP's for eons. Mind you, my rifle(also 1 in 9.5) isn't up to tack driving accuracy. Good enough for deer and ground hogs though. A 105 SP practically turns a ground hog inside out.

Give Barnes 85gr TSX a try (super accurate and effective)

I've never been able to get the @##$ thing to shot well, while Hornady 95gr SST and Sierra 80gr Blitz give me 1"-1.5" 5 shot groups at 200m!
I still have 250 of these Devil spawned bullets and am working on a load but am starting to think that if 107gr SMK can't work well in my rifle, 105gr A-Max won't work much better.
If you want deer exterminating super performance, you should try a Barnes 85gr TSX.

I was reading on another site earlier of a guy getting between 4"-6" groups at 100 yrds with these 105 gr amax. while his 80 gr were shooting sub-moa.
thats a rediculous spread for that range.thats part of the reason I'm curious,almost seem like a challenge now to get them grouping.I've got quite a cabinet full of powders,will have to load a couple of every flavour

A couple days ago I shot the best group of my life with a .243 1:10" twist and a 105gr AM at 200 yards. Three shots measured 0.315", center to center.
For the twist you have, I recommend a lighter bullet. I suggest a 85 grain bullet.
105 grain amax in my 7600 243 with 9 and 1/8th twist I use 32 grains of varget. At 100 yards groups are 0.75" for 5 shots during summer. On a cold winters day they key hole and fly wildly in all directions.
In that twist I would use 87 grain vmax and 42 to 43 grains of H4350 for an accuracy load. Not a preferred deer bullet however.

105gr A-Max is probably borderline stable under nominal conditions like the Berger 105gr VLD.
Bullet stability depends on air density (lower air density improves stability and higher air density decreases stability).
That means that Montreal, Quebec at -15 C is worst case while Calgary Alberta at 25 C is best case for bullet stability.
This explains why VLD bullets that work very well in the West are only marginal in the East.

RL-22 works well for 243 win and heavy bullets. Not near my notes but I last used about 44 grains for 100gr. bullets. Its wasnt' a hot load in a Ruger Bolt action and it was fairly accurate.
If you want to find the best group..try working up from about 40gr. and see what groups best and what seating lenght.
