243 - What is the biggest grain bullet one can buy?

Young hunter came by my house tonight and in chatting he said that you could buy bullets for the 243 over 105 grains. I have never heard of this before. Is her making a mistake :?:

Sierra makes a 107gr HPBT match.

Berger makes a 115gr VLD.

Wildcat bullets makes a 110gr.

There are some out there. Looks like you have to buy the beer. :wink:

Nope. Her isn't. Mind you, I've never seen the 115's or 110's, Joe mentions for sale in any shop in Canada, but they exist. Berger makes a 115 moly coated VLD bullet too, but you need a 1 in 7 twist. Most .243's aren't.
Mind you, after seeing what a 105 SP does to a ground hog, the only reason I'd want a bigger bullet is just because I want to try them.
