243 Win and H335 or CFE223

I have a good supply of H335 and a moderate supply of CFE223. I am going to work up something for Hornaday vmax 58 grain.

Please share thoughts/experience with H335 for this application. Or should I stick to the CFE223 and save the H335 for the larger runs of 223? There seems to be a wider range of data and bullet weights for the CFE223 which I got as a package deal with some other stuff I bought. Not interested in purchasing another powder if this 12lbs can be used satisfactorily.

CFE looks OK if you stick to 75gr bullets and under. H335 doesn't look like a good match even with the lighter bullets

My best load for my 243 with light 60 gr. bullets uses 3031 powder, H335 is too fast I think..

I wouldn't suggest H335 in a 243 with any bullet weight. CFE223 will perform well, other good options are H414 and Win760, Varget, RL15
