243?

Sounds like 243 is the way I'm going. I have a ruger gunsite scout in left hand 308 that i'll likely be selling with extras to fund the purchase of a new tikka T3X in 243. Sounds like i'm going to be pretty happy with it. Surprised about the ability from multiple GN saying about taking bigger game (of course shot placement is everything) I'm not super sure of shooting bear vitals so I may stick to a bigger caliber if I plan on chasing bear, but as I get more comfortable taking them, I may just use 243 all around.

Sounds like i'll use lighter faster for varmint, heavier 100 grain for my deer and such.

I use Hogdon H335 for my 308 and 30-30 right now. Speer hot cor bullets. Sounds like Nosler partitions are good bullets for big game? any other good heavy bullets you guys recommend? or any powder suggestions?

I don't know a whole heck of a lot yet about reloading, but I'm not too worried about burning out a barrel. My rifle will likely never see a few thousand rounds.

The 95gr Nosler Bt is a heck of a bullet for deer.

I’ll have to check my notes but using h4350 with the same powder charge and seating depth I was able to get the 95gr NBT and an 87gr hornady vmax to shoot interchange ably.

I chase white tail and maybe coyotes. I go after bear as well but i'm guessing this is too small for bear?

I probably won't shoot over 200 yards in NS, likely not more than 75.

The 95grain Nosler ballistic tip is definitely one of the best bullets for 6mm cartridges. Very heavy walled bullet, that works perfect on large game.
