Strongly agree with the two guys who stress how the gun fits your son. I think that is the best way to reduce felt recoil and improve his aim. I have a nice Carl Gustaf 6.5 x 55 that is very nice to shoot and comes complete with brass and dies and some good quality hunting bullets. PM for pics of my son holding it.
