Ok just acquired an old Remington BDL in 25-06. It's wears the typical 24" sporter barrel NOT a heavy barrel. It has a nice 4x12 older redfield with adjustable objective. I'd like opinions on a good overall round that will be used mostly for a bit of target shooting and coyote/wolf gun. I don't anticipate using it on larger game at this time. I'd like opinions on good factory ammo options for this rifle before I start reloading, which I'm probably going to do down the road. Thanks.

I suggest you stay to 100 grain bullets or less for coyote/wolf. The Winchester 90 grain positive expanding point (HP) has been a very very accurate bullet in my Sako. But i'm not certain they still load that one, a more modern alternative is their 85 grain ballistic silvertip plastic point bullet.
