Underappreciated round if you ask me. Currently have 2 rifles in .25-05 Rem. A Stevens 200 in a boyds laminate stock and a T/C Pro-hunter.
So far, my favorite load (that shoots well in both my guns) consists of a 117gr Hornady SPBT in Remington brass. Winchester LR primer and 51gr of IMR 4350.
Anyone else care to share their gun and pet load?
I HOPE IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT ANY LOAD DATA SHARED HERE IS TO BE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TYPO'S CAN HAPPEN. VERIFY EACH LOAD ON THIS THREAD YOU ARE GOING TO TRY WITH OTHER SOURCES.
A SAFE LOAD IN MY GUN MAY NOT BE SAFE IN YOUR GUN. START 10% LOWER AND WORK UP AS ANY SAFE RELOADER WOULD DO.

I've got a soft spot for quarter bores in general. Have a nice older Ruger 77 25-06 that I'm working with now...75gr VMAX load. Will share when I have it dialed in.

Have a chrono? Curious as to what velocity you'll achieve. My first 25-06 was an old Ruger 77. Loved it but it moved on when I saw a Ruger I had lusted after for years. At least I replaced it with 2 other 25-06's.
Anyone load the 115gr Partition? Looking for a load to try.

Try 54gr of RE#22 and the 115 gr Partition in Win brass and Fed mag primers.I'm getting 1/2" at 100 yards.

This is my go to with 115 grain Partitions.

I have a limited amount of powder on hand due to the remote location. REL 15, 19, 22 H4831SC, H414, Varget, IMR4350, H4895, limited primers. Win LR and LRM , so its better than some.
Anyone got pics of their game they shot with a quarter-bore?

Do you know what your oal was? Sounds like a good load to try. Is that a max to be worked up to?
Yes that is MAX............. throats vary gun to gun so the OAL in my gun won't be the same as your's.Killed a bull elk at 400 yards with that one and more than a few black bear.

117 gr Sierra with a max load of IMR 4831 and a CCI 250 in a Rem case has worked great for me in the past in 2 different 25/05's I've owned.

Dropped this WT with the load I mentioned. One shot, went about 5ft and collapsed. Range was around 225-250yds.

I've killed a lot of deer with my 25-06

Tikka 695.

I've used 120grn, Hornady - 117grn, and 115grn Nosler Ballistic tip (hunting ones not varmint)

I am now working with 110grn Nosler accubonds

I'll have to look up my notes for load data.

My latest 25-06 is a T3X had it about a month, so far best load is the Speer 120 Grand slam with 51 grains of IMR 4350. I am also getting .75 Moa with the 110 ELDX and 50 grains of IMR 4350.

RL22 and the 100gr TTSX is easily shooting under 1” at 100 yds in my Tikka T3X. I’ll try it on mulies this fall.
