.25-.303

Just wondering if anyone in the great white north has a .25-.303 which is esentially a .303 necked down to a .25 caliber sort of like a 25 odd six....from what my Australian mates have said this came about because of the government not wanting "military calibers" so alot were necked down / modified into wild cats....and this particular round was eventually loaded by an amunition manufacturer and available here in Australia. I have seen a very nice example of this rifle and it shoots very well.

I have a 6.5/303 and 35/303 on Ross MK 3 actions and a 6/303 on martini action. I have shot the 6.5 alot an bit shoot very good

Were the conversions all custom or did Lithgow-Slazenger do the conversions commercially?

I have a 25/303 A1 same as 257 A1 and it is a shooter.

i found some ammo ,really cheap ,picked it up and it was 25-303 ,guy at the store had one but didnt want to be bothered to reload and sold the rifle but kept the ammo ,said it was a good varmint gun.

I have a 6.5-303 Epps on a Martini action. So far so good.
