25 MOA rail for barnard P

as opposed to a 17 rail, will the 25 be too much for 284 f-open or maybe a 308 FTR, if I want to shoot only at 300 and beyound would this make the center of the adjustments better at 1000 yards, not having owned a 25 moa rial I thought it should be asked,

Should be fine, I put a 17moa on my Barnard S .260rem and even at 100yard zero I could have put a 25 moa rail with no problem, the scope I use has 70moa of adjustment.

I have a 25 moa on my Barnard 6.5 X 47 Lapua. No issues between 300 and 1000. I have a 17 moa on my other Barnard 284, and again no issues
