It has not been made since the `40s, but 30 Rem brass can still be had, simply put thru the sizer die and your ready to go.
Factory ammo is not hard to find at the guns shows, but the price attached IS hard to swallow.

Hi. It was discontinued around 1950. Definitely a reloading thing only. You'll likely have to make the brass. Uses a regular .257" bullet. You can use .25-35 Win load data(the .25 is just a rimless .25-35 Win). Hodgdon has .25-35 data on their site.
However, Old Western Scrounger lists loaded ammo at $34.95 per 20. Made by necking down .30 Remington brass(Epp's lists .30 Rem brass, but you'll need a .25 Rem forming die.). Epp's is their Canadian distributor, so try them. It won't be cheap.
Dies will be a special order thing. Uses a #19 RCBS shell holder.

I have seen the dies come up here at least three times, they are or have been in the 80-100 dollar range but if he is shooting sparingly it is no trouble to find factory at the guns shows.
IIRC the 25 Rem case is close to the 25-35 but the shoulder was slightly different. In a pinch folks have used 25-35 Win dies but I cannot guarantee how that will work. The Finished COL is critical to feed properly if you are using a model 14 or you'll go bald while unjamming it every time.
cote_b, just curious what are you shooting, a model 30, 8/81 or 14?
