25 Stevens Short

My cousin came by and gave me a box of ammo, knowing that I have some .22 cal guns.

I looked at the box, it read
25 Short Stevens Lesmok
Adapted to
Marlin, Stevens, Remington and Winchester Single Shot Rifles
Made in Canada by CIL

This is really old Ammo, anyone still have a 25 Stevens Short rifle?

I have a stevens that was grandfathers, in 25 stevens.
I have longs , Don't think I ever had any shorts thou.
I would be interested if you don't want them.

P.S. The ones I tried where good looking round, but 50%
duds and slow, you could almost see the bullet drop.

Cooey chambered his Canuck model in 25 stevens short and long in the spring of 1922. These Canuck models were labeled with his Toronto address. 25 cal rimfire ammo is hard to find and collectable. At gun shows it sells for about $1 per rnd-----Cowboy

I've seen $200/ box of 50 with a nice undamaged box....just acquired 34rds of mint .25 Stevens short

I have a couple of Stevens in 25 and a Cooey also. The Cooeys were crude looking guns back then . I believe mines an Eatonia.
