Can anyone got this pistol comment on the accuracy at 25 yards of this pistol?

I am interested in it. But was previously disappointed about NP22's 25 yards accuracy.

Many thanks!

Drop a Sig barrel and locking block in your NP22 and voilà.

Idk about their 1911, but for 400$ you can't go wrong either way.

Accuracy will have more to do with you and your ammunition han the gun. I have two NP-44 inbound. If I see anything spectacular one way or the other regarding accuracy I'll let you know.

Thank you very much in advance . Why I asked because I knew myself is not the problem regarding NP22 issue. I have other 5 pistols, I shot all of the rest of pistol dead accurate at 25 yards even at 50 yards. So I am pretty confident the problem is not myself. My NP22's barrel internal diameter is somehow slightly larger than all of my other 9mm pistols' barrels, All other 9mm pistol barrels felt the same when cleaning and put cleaning rods through, except the NP22's. There is way less friction for the same rod to go through NP22's barrel. Although probably NP22's barrel is the most beautifully chrome lined among them all.

Not sure about the double stack version, but I believe the single stack would be made at the same factory? In my informal shooting of the single stack, it seemed quite acceptable. I have read that the biggest thing that holds back the accuracy is the barrel bushing which is easily replaced, and probably about a $5 part IIRC.

I have 2 of the old model double stacks and a bunch of the single stacks. Only one (an old single stack) is not "good" or better.

Most got grips, sights and trigger jobs, but accuracy was not an issue.

can I ask about 25 yards and beyond accuracy specifically? Cause even my NP22, it's accuracy is acceptable at 15 yards.

My single stack is pretty darn accurate. I got one of those commander double stacks on the way as well so I will keep you posted on how it runs.

Usually used on 20 and 30 yard gongs. 230gr campros, titegroup.

I'll be using S&B 230 FMJ and some Powder coated LEE 230 TC bullets over 4.5grns Red Dot. Both have proven very accurate out of my single stacks so it should be a good gauge.

I have a pair of np29’s and they both shoot bullseyes at 20yds out of the box with me at the trigger and I’m not the best shot. First shot was an “x”. Keepers! Granted they could do with a little tuning..... like most guns. Iget similar results with my sp01.

Just for information sake how much clearance should a barrel bushing have on a Norc 1911?

i have a norinco 1911 and a sig tac ops 1911 both in .45acp the difference in accuracy is quite noticeable. I was shooting clay pigeons off a sand bank from 40yards with my sig yesterday. My norc doesn't do that.

Thanks for the feedback. Shooting clay at 40 yards, that is definitely nice to have. But maybe too much to ask for a 400$ pistol. :) If all shots could land on the clay pigeon at 25 yards, I would be very satisfied.

The 2-tone is a 45. Blue is a 9mm. Both are single stack. The double stacks shoot the same, but are much fatter in the hand.

The fatter grip might well negatively affect how accurately a person can shoot these. Getting a proper grip is really important for handgun accuracy. Might work fine for someone with really large paws, and pose issues for people with average size hands. Be interesting to hear what owners think.

^^^Lining up the sights and a proper trigger press has more to do with accuracy than grip or stance, not saying a proper grip isn’t important but it is lower down on the list. Plenty of videos of experienced shooters lightly holding their pistol etc etc and hitting their poa, a good grip will help control recoil more easily.
