I've got one in a Ruger M-77 International. It's definitely more snappy than the regular .250-3000. The key is you have to build up the loads carefully, as every rifle will be a bit different.
I've been able to generate a little better than a 15% improvement in velocity over the regular version. (I've chrono'd over 3,000 fps with a 100 grain Hornady out of the 18" tube ) I've also gone too hot (with the 120's) and have had to back off when the loads got too hot and produced expanded primer pockets.
So, your best bet is to put together a few loads that progressively increase the power that the improved cartridge will give you. Watch for signs of excessive pressure and keep in mind that a 10 to 15 percent improvement is what you should expect.
