I see savage is offering a couple of their bolt rifles in 250-3000savage now. Glad to see it. I recently purchased a 250 in ruger 77 , I have had a fondness for the cartrige since I owned one in a 99f takedown which I sadly regret ever selling.:(

Both the .250-3000 and the .300 Savage are great ctgs. Glad to see them coming back in production rifles...

I often thought the 250 savage in a scaled down firearm would be a great gun for the young hunters and women. I think the manufacturers could cash in on this.

Remington would do well to offer a Model Seven CDL or M700 CDL in 250Savage and support it with lots of ammo and brass.

I have a 250 Savage on a Ruger International Full stock stainless rifle, and it is a pure pleasure to shoot. Working up some loads with 110gr Accubond bullets well see how it shoots them. FS

I wanted to buy a .22-250 Remington 799 and re-barrel it for .250 Savage. It would make a terrific little hunting rifle for my oldest when he's big enough to hunt with me. But I think I'll just loan him my 99 in .250 instead. It is great to see some of the old, great calibres being resurrected, like the .303 in the Ruger #1A.
