250 savage

A friend of mine asked me to look for ammo for 250 Savage knowing I would have more luck than them but costwise I have so far recommended a new rifle for the cost of ammo.

In my two Ruger M77's, one preferred 38.0 grains of W760 and the other liked 41.0 grains of H4831 both with the 115 NBT. I use that same bullet in my Roberts.

in honor of this thread I dug my savage 99, 250-3000 out of the gun safe and is now my truck gun

Hornady now makes it and I think in a couple lines. Winchester and Remington still offer it
