Lucked out and acquired a VERY nice Ruger Hawkeye a short while ago. Hoping to find 2 or 3 boxes of Winchester Western Super X factory ammo, 256 Win. Mag. Any available out there??

That was a route I'd take if the need was 'urgent' and, I do like the 'real' head stamp on brass if at all possible. However, with the Hawkeye, one of the extras I got with it was
2 1/2 boxes of Winchester factory ammo. So, in the meantime, I thought I'd try and pick up a few more boxes of Winchester factory. Got a line on the possibility of a couple boxes yesterday.

I also prefer the real head stamp, I also worry someone will mistakenly put it in the wrong firearm reading the head stamp. I made some 41 Long Colt once with 38 Special, it didn’t look right but it worked.
