I have some 100 gr nosler ballistic tips and some 115 gr partions.

IMR 4350 / H4350 for both. Or 760 or IMR 4451

I have 2, 257's and they both like different powders.

Do some searching, there is lots of info on here already.

It's a great cartridge and you should will be happy with it.

Do you know what twist your barrel has? This is critical in 25 cal, 1-10...1-12...1-14..........you really need to know.

Not sure on twist. Got it shooting pretty good today.

My 257 doesn't seem to like IMR 4350 / H4350 as much as it does H4831 with 100 gr, Nosler BT's.

Really easy to check. Start a jag and patch down the bore. Stop a few inches in. Put some tape on the rod near the handle and put a marker mark on top of tape. Measure how much rod is exposed. Push the rod through till the mark is up again and then measure rod again. Subtract the small number from large and thats your twist. Doug is right. If you want a good load you need to consider twist in order to select a good bullet.

That being said, its hard to argue with a load that works. ☺
