Ok, I am not having very good success with the Accubond. I have tried RL25 and IMR7828ssc and cannot get it to shoot better than 1.5" 3 shots @100yds. I am seriously thinking of ditching this bullet and trying something else. Any suggestions? BTW, the rifle is a SS Vanguard.

If you are thinking about trying a different bullet, try the Barnes TSX. I found that they shot more accurately out of my 270 WSM than the AccuBonds did. From what I've seen the TSXs deliver what they promise on game.

I had limited success with the 100 grain TSX in the .257 Weatherby, but haven't given up yet.I just couldn't get anymore, for a while. They are back in stock now. I blame the free-bore, since TSXs are sensitive to distance off the lands. So far the best accuracy has been with 100 gr Ballistic Tips. If it's any help I got my best accuracy with IMR 4831, just like the Nosler manual suggested. Funny how often that works.

Every gun is different with every bullet, My weatherby shoots the accubond very well with retumbo and a full charge. the 115 partition is another good bet, I have not tried the barnes TSX yet they may be the ticket.

the 110 grain Accubonds shot retarded good in the custom 25-284 that I had (Rembo built it). 3 shot groups ran around .5 to .75" @ 100, with no fine tuning.

Id give the 100 gr TSX a try, it should be a hell of a killer in a fast 25

I shoot the 100 gr TSX's in my 25/06 AI and they do awesome in it. This year I'll be using them on deer and caribou. No reason why they shouldn't preform in the 257 Weatherby.

Me, but that's just me, I wouldn't ditch the Accubonds. They are an inherently very accurate bullet. I'd adjust seating depth and yes.....change primer. Oooopss, forgot to mention, weight your brass after trimming.
