I have gathered some componets to load for a new to me 257 wby.once fired brass from the rifle 20 cases,Hornaday 117 gr SST ,cci #250 mag primers, and Hodgdon H 1000,H 4831 .any thoughts or opinions will be accepted with thanks
+1 on the 7mm hulls, my vanguard shoots 1/2-3/4" all the time. Just plain nasty with 120 grn Sierra HPBT's. I've used the 117 grn Hornady to and it shoots well too, was actually just forming with the Hornady loads, but have shot a few coyotes, couple deer and lots of paper with them. Still yet to test the Noslers I bought to hunt with, no doubt they'll be a lot the same as other Noslers I've used.i ran 115 gr tsx with rl22 last year. i use R-P 7mm hulls and 215M primers.
this years load is 73.5 gr of h1000 with a 100gr ttsx with R-P 7mm hulls and 215m primers
