.257 weatherby moose 120partition or 100ttsx?

No offence intended but if you think a 257 Weatherby is marginal for moose than you haven’t shot a 257 Weatherby or many moose.
JMHO

I was always under the impression a 257 weatherby was a deer/coyote gun until I bought one. I’m pushing a 110 accubond at 3505 fps. after seeing the damage it can do on a whitetail I wouldn’t hesitate to use it on moose at reasonable ranges.

I loaded 100gr Barnes for years in a friend's 25-06. He took moose and elk with it, no issues. The new 101gr LRX from Barnes would be worth a try too

Any stoutly constructed bullet in the .257 will work just fine. The enemy of the .257 Weatherby is not the moose, it is the crazy velocity that may happen at close range. Get a stout pill and you are set. The .257 Weatherby has plenty of horsepower for the largest of moose in North America.

Shot placement is key. .25 cal is below marginal no matter how fast you push it. Right spot on the moose it will work; but a 140+ gr. bullet will give better results more often. Roy Weatherby's speed at all cost philosophy is pretty much obsolete IMO.
