Just bought the Remington 700 LSS Special Edition in .257 Weatherby and am looking for some loading ideas. I would like to shoot the 115 gr Barnes TSX, but the Barnes site doesn't list any loads for the .257 Weahterby. Anyone out there have a favorite recipe for this calibre? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Barnes #2 manual has data. Best powders for 115 gr. bullet are IMR 7828 or RL 22.
7828 start 63, max 68 for 3316
RL 22 start 64, max 69 for 3323
Weird. Wee bit faster powder, bigger charge. Their velocities are from a 24" bbl. You should do quite a bit better if you're blessed with a 26".

Barnes#3 lists for their XFB115gr.the TSX's usually can handle 2gr.more than max.as their paperwork says in the box of bullets.
AA3100 61-66gr.-3224fps
H4831 61-66gr.-3264fps
H1000 68-73gr.-3308fps
IMR4831 59-64gr.-3257
the data is the same in #3for the above data.
